Let us know how it turns out...and once yours arrives we can compare weight. I plan on making my own versions of JB and 59 for it

Haha yessir, good ole GC used. You got a pretty similar deal with this one, mine had been professionally refretted with stainless frets and had a Duncan JB in the bridge for something like $240. The JB is pretty hot/high output. Emphasized lows and mids. Great for leads. Pretty versatile for rhythm as well. I would say it's a rock/metal/punk pickup, as long as you aren't concerned about a really tight/cutting treble response.
