logging in is annoying

Yo!

Every time I come to the website, I have to log in again. Even though I was just here a few minutes ago, and left the window open and logged in

Is there a way to get the forum to stop logging me out constantly?

I don't have that problem. Must be something in your settings. Admin should be able to help.

I have to log in twice. Says my password is incorrect. But always ok the second time. Not a big deal.

Thanks all.
If you are going to HTTP instead of HTTPS it will do that.
Delete your current bookmark.
Delete your cache/cookies
Save a new bookmark going to https://www.aguitarforum.net
And you should be good to go. :)

I do not have to re-login on any device, I'm using Safari mainly, occasionally Chrome.

[mention]mickey[/mention]'s suggestions below are valid, check your shortcut is HTTPS, and clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in,

I'm afraid there isn't anything more we can do this end that I can see.

No problems here either, it stays logged in for me on all my devices if i choose to do so.

On my Surface I have to log in every session. On my home laptop I remain logged in no matter what. I have no idea why and neither does the universe.

In Firefox go to saved passwords under settings. Delete. Delete your aguitarforum.net bookmark in favorites if saved. Restart browser. Manually type in this website. Be sure it is https. Login, Firefox should ask if you want to save the password.

LightWings said in an earlier thread that the board is set to automatically log us out after 2 hours of no activity. I personally like it as I prefer not to be constantly logged in on any site.

[mention]SamIV[/mention] For password problems check where your passwords are saved in your browser. It might (??) be possible that you have two passwords saved for this site, one correct, one incorrect. This could also relate back to early days here when board Landing Page was configured as HTTP instead of HTTPS.

Best I can think of to try is to clear all passwords for AGF, make sure you are logging in with HTTPS, re-enter your correct password and let browser save it.

Or I could be entirely off base with this theory.
