I have one of those, pretty good guitar. Mine always seems heavier than I expect before I pick it up, but I think it's only like 9 lbs, not extreme. Plays and sounds great.

I'm a big fan of that body style; I've got two of the originals with the TOM and one of the reissues with the wraparound. Of course, they're all on the pickup swap list as is everything else on that wall:

I liked everything about the one I had except it had really bad neck dive, had to let it go.
I don't recall it being on the heavy side.
I met up with a forum member who bought it. Randy, @thepezident I think it was.
