Unrelated, but I was listening to a podcast that mentioned that he boxed to stay healthy.
Cool guitar. Robbie Robertson told a story about his band (The Band) backing him when he went electric. It was blasphemy to many and thrown beer bottles were not uncommon.

There is a really cool story about his Stratocaster that he played when he went electric and caused all the controversy amongst his folk fans. He left it on a private plane. The pilot had the guitar and tried to return it but his people insisted he did not leave in on the plane so he kept it. He died and left in to his daughter who years later had it researched and sure enough it was the guitar. Eventually it was sold back because a court case proved it was now hers. I think it is in the Hall of Fame now or maybe the Smithsonian, somewhere important anyway.
