Gretsch 2622 Blue

Got this from @tonebender for some pickups to be determined later. Don't have any mods planned. GFS retrotron humbuckers. Chrome knobs.

Guild Jet p90
Scored this for a little over 300 from proaudiostar last year.

No mods on this except the roller bridge.
The 6 position rotary switch is neat.

Gretsch Streamliner Rally Oxblood
Scored this for 299 from adorama (still in stock)

Installed a roller bridge but otherwise this thing is perfect as is.

SX Lap Steel

Replaced the single coil with a p90 I had to route.
Crazy the serial number (like my ash strats) seem to be from 2008. Crazy. Late 2000s was definitely good days for Rondo shopping.

Mods include
Shielded cavities
Treble bleed
500k bourns pots
Switchcraft jack
.022 petp cap
A5 42.5 10000 9k

I happened to have the entire day free today while my kids and wife went to a Waterpark.
Believe it or not, I crossed the half way point today in guitars i have modded/need to mod. Maybe 5 to 10 more Randoms then my les Paul's and semi hollows. I've saved the semis for last as I'm not looking forward to rewiring those!

I have probably another 5 that I don't need to do anything to, I just need to take pics of them.

Squier VM Jaguar

Got this as a bstock from mf back around the time these came out, 2012ish I think. It has a nice size chunk of paint missing on the back of the upper bout. I would've liked to get a Marr switch plate so I could put in a blade 3 or 5 way but just like on my last Jag, I decided to drill out the middle switch hole for a 3 way. The rhythm circuit is not connected as I never use it.

Mods include
Cavities shielded
Treble bleed mod
1 Meg bourns pots
Kill switch is the 1st switch on the control plate, then
US style 3 way, next on the control plate is a
Series out of phase switch
Mustang bridge
A2 neck 7750 42hfv
A2 bridge 8500 42hfv

Agile Harm Ash

Ash top, mahogany body. Almost AL heavy. I bought some surface mount covers and wound something pretty unique inside and I think it sounds nice and jangly.
After wiring in independent volume controls and a master tone (which I really like now over master volume and 2 tones like a strat), I really hope this doesn't tempt me to go back and rewire all my strats...

Mods include
Cavities shielded
Treble bleeds
500k bourns pots
Neck volume, bridge volume, master tone
2 push pulls to split the humbuckers with 6.8k resistor
5 way wiring- series- series w/cap- neck- middle- bridge
Dual a5 magnets firebird style - gold foil cosmetics
4000 41 43 neck
4500 41 43 bridge
Waxed
Graph tech tune o matic
Lightweight aluminum stoptail
US style 5 way

That blue Gretsch is a wonderful guitar and served me well. The pictures do not do justice to the color, that blue is awesome.

Harley Benton SG custom

Pre warped horns. Very unusual pickup combos and not 100% I have it wired like I'd like but it works for now so I'm moving on. Have had a few gold TV Jones bstock pickups I bought around 5 years ago so this was a destination for one of them. I wanted to change the stoptail and tom but the spacing seems a bit too narrow for standard gotoh type stuff.

Mods include
Shielded cavities
Treble bleeds
500k bourns pots
Switchcraft jack
.015 pio cap
3 volume 1 tone
Middle volume does out of phase
Bridge volume splits the humbuckers
US style 3 way
Neck a2 4000x2 43awg
Middle a5/a3 7750 43awg
Bridge TV Jones duo tron

No idea the model number on these. I think this is from 2009ish or so.

500k bourns pots, 250k neck volume
Switchcraft jack
Treble bleeds
Bridge volume push pull splits hum with 6.8k resistor
Neck tone does in series out of phase

Charvel Skatecaster

These were blown out by musiciansfriend for 99 or 199, can't remember. I only wish the body was better matched but for the price it's an amazing guitar. Locking tuners and a pretty neck. It comes with only 1 pot and a switch so I added a 2nd pot and drilled it out. I used hum to mini adapters so I could use these black nickel mini hum covers I've had for years.

Mods include
Shielded cavities
Treble bleed
Bourns 500k pots Push pull
US style 3 way
Switchcraft jack
.022 petp cap
Black nickel Graph tech bridge (Kurt had these for like $20 a long time ago)
Neck a5 lipstick style in a mini cover 7000 43awg
Bridge mini 4200 x2 43awg dual a5 magnets
Waxed

Ampeg Mahogany

Samash cleared these out for 250ish about 10 years ago. There was a white ash one too I'm sorry didn't get.

I bought a replacement humbucker sized p90 from their store on reverb and that is the only mod is swapping the interchangeable pickups.

Guild Starfire Walnut brown

Got this from proaudiostar for 250ish last year.
Only mods I did was swapping the bridge for a gotoh and the stop tail for an aluminum one. The pickups sound great and it plays great too.

Epiphone Sorrento

I got this feels like a lifetime ago. Sometime 15ish years ago and it's sat in a case since. Just took it out recently and swapped the bridge for a gotoh and that was it. Has Gibson mini humbuckers.

Gretsch 2622t-p90

I think the color is forge glow. These staple p90s are great. I swapped the bridge for a roller and that was it.

Gibson SG Faded
Crescent moon inlay early version

The ebony fretboard were leftovers from the goth series I believe. Had one of these new when they came out and sold it after a few years but got another when I had the funds. The stock pickups were ok, this one though came with some GFS pickups so I decided to swap them one day for my own.

Mods include
Shielded cavities
Treble bleeds
Bourns 500k pots
Push volumes to split ea humbucker with 6.8k resistor
Neck tone push pull does inseries out of phase
Neck a4 4500 43awg

It seems a Gotoh bridge is a popular upgrade for you. Are you buying them in bulk? :)

I had a ton from WD when I had an account there. Their prices jumped a ton in 2021 so I stopped shopping there.
I get them now from mojotone. They're normally 20-25ish.

This one has an abr style that I don't like but it was the only nickel one I had on hand for small posts.

I'm pretty much doing this thread for me and you at this point 😆
Notice the custom poker chip from our very own awesome Ryan...not sure if he has posted recently or not though

It's either my eyes or my monitor but just about all I can make out is that it isn't a standard poker chip.

I haven't noticed him around lately either. He lives about a half hour away from me, I was down there a few years ago when he was still making custom pickguards...

You can click on the pic to zoom in.
I had him make me a bunch of jedi/sith and lennon/Harrison poker chips, and I got just a couple smeagol/gollum ones. Kinda nerdy but I like em

I'll be in FL this November for disney. Election week. Hoping to avoid either direction it goes ruining my week.
