Now...seeing the price of less than $100 I really can't take offense to this guy except advertising a guitar made in Japan and then posting a pic of the headstock that clearly states it is made in China gives him the clueless award of the week,

It's only the handful of good deals that keeps a shred of hope for humanity alive when trolling the intellectual wastelands that be FB marketplace/CL/nextdoor.com

I played a Japanese made Conn acoustic from the 70's back around the first of June and decided I wanted one if I could find one. I found one on Reverb located about an hour from me. It had been for sale for 3 years so I messaged to see if it were actually still available. I heard nothing until last week. The guy says, sorry I don't know how I missed your message for so long but yes it is still for sale, He said he has had a ton of inquiries but no one has bought it. I immediately message back that I was local, wanted it and would come get it. I gave him my contact number and I have heard nothing. I am reluctant to purchase on Reverb because of his lack of response. I dealt with one other person like that and when I purchased their item it took a week for them to tell me sorry it had already been sold. I used to like CL but all I see is the same stuff up there week after week with an occasional new item that will last a day or two. I do not do the FB so can look but not make a deal.

Those vintage Conn acoustics are stellar. A shipmate of mine in the 70's had one and that was the only one I had ever seen in the wild until last month. They are cheap to because they are one of those rare gems no one has heard about.
