I found a cool drum track on YouTube and started noodling around. It's a beautiful summer day but I ended up tracking this for a couple of hours (yes, it took me that long to come up with something and play it coherently).
No surprises after the first 30 seconds or so. I just kept playing the same thing.
Going outside. Let me know what you think.
Found a good drum track. Did this...

Very tasty licks Tommy. What guitar is that? Is it a semi-hollow on the bridge pickup?

@sabasgr68 Yep. 'Played everything.
@tonebender I forgot what position but yes, it was the semi-hollow. Great ear.
Thank you both for the listen.

This could be the new intro music for a Beavis and Butthead reboot. Seriously, I mean that as a compliment. It has that feeling of a theme song, or even a piece of incidental music in something like a John Carpenter film. Love it!

sounds Stones-zy

Yeah! That's what writing is all about. Hear or feel something that compels you, and create a phrase you like. In time, build on that phrase. In my case, the amount of time that takes varies from moments to months and I try not to rush it.
