At first I thought," wow that's not a bad price for a Korean Hamer at GC' these days".

Then I looked at a close up pic.
It's listed in "great" condition.

fret ends may need a touch up.
or, "finish crack , neck is stable"
site pics have a scroll to enlarge option.
it looks to me like frets broke at that crack....huh?
that seems odd.

It's not damaged at all, what you're seeing is the price tag for the guitar. GC has these big laminated rectangular price tags (you can see it is attached to the high E string with a loop). These price tags are clear so the reflection of the fret makes it look like it goes all the way through.Brendan wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 3:32 pm At first I thought," wow that's not a bad price for a Korean Hamer at GC' these days".

Well that's a relief! I felt bad for that guitar.
Damn, I had to stare at that a minute, but I see it now.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 11:15 pmIt's not damaged at all, what you're seeing is the price tag for the guitar. Knowing that the headstock logo and TRC orientation were upside down would keep me up at night. I'm already sleeping poorly because of a reverse headstock swap with @NickintheStates between our HB-TE90FLTs now has that logo upside-down...

One the one hand, it’s a temptation because it’s a lefty Hamer.
I’ve wanted a lefty Hamer for years.
On the other hand, it’s made in China and I know nothing about the quality nor value of Chinese made Hamers.
