So, I bought this body from GFS about 5 years ago on their factory buyout clearance page.
After letting it sit for several years and thinking about what I wanted to do with it, I began ordering parts over a period of time. And then I got this Idea that I wanted to make a pickguard out of a circuit board. I ordered some lipstick pickups which I ended up using on another project. Long story shorter, new parts are Ibanez strap buttons, hard tail bridge, new tuners and ferrules, new neck and control plate and all other parts are used stuff I have collected over the years.

Cracking job!!
I was trying to convince robbone to use a circuit board finish way back when he was doing those acrylic pour tele tops... including all the caps, resistors, chips and whatnot... ...
Never thought of one as a pickguard... super idea! Whole thing looks great!

Fortunately I was able to find some virgin circuit boards. This pickguard is actually two boards spliced together to make it large enough. The only trouble I could see with having the components encased in acrylic is that it would make the pickguard too thick from a practical stand point. Yes, robbone was routing down into the face about a quarter inch, placing bottlecaps in, then pouring acrylic to level out the top
