Question on selling
My question , I've got a bunch of handmade pedals for sale and I don't really see a dealer area. More are being built as we speak. So what do I do? Probably going to be a few hundred in the long run. Could maybe swing a small monthly fee.

Good question. I wondered about that and I figured it would work itself out over the last year. It was about this time last year.
I think it is unknown regarding "the rules" and people are erring on the side of caution and not selling their wares. Nobody even has links in their sig to their reverb.
As far as fee's, way above my pay grade! There used to be (on the dotcom) level of support or something, it might have had something to do with how many F*bombs you can drop a year. And vender or not, but we also had ads so that Tom could make $$$ So I continue to not know.

I don't think there's any rule against having your Reverb store linked in your sig. I had mine like that from when I joined until just within the last couple of months. I only removed it because I felt like doing so temporarily. May put it back up, may not...
Edit: I can't really answer the OP. Maybe @mickey or Patrick @LightWingStudios?

I'm talking more than a reverb signature line. Dealer area or even small side ads. There only may be 3 or 4 of us here that make and sell things. It may also help bring in new folks. Will write up a PM after work and a beer.

Yeah people post for sale threads all the time. Don't see why it would be ok to sell a pedal somebody else made but not a pedal you made. I could definitely be wrong, but I think if it was a problem you'd probably find out pretty quick.
Also if you wanted to PM me a link to your pedals, I'd love to take a look. I don't need anything, and I already have too many, but I do love looking, and I've had nothing but great experiences buying things from folks I met here.
Good luck with the (future) sale(s)

Post your stuff and "beg for forgiveness."
You made a true and sincere effort following both the letter and the spirit of the rules.
Laws/rules don't tell you what you can do, they tell you what you cannot. I don't see anything saying that you cannot.
You have people who want to see your pedals.
My marketing is slowly working. Did I mention these will make you sound like (insert fav guitarist here) and are assembled by ( insert fav assembler here) ?
I'll post some pictures, descriptions, prices, etc.
EDIT:
Admin replied to my question, waiting on a decision.

Well to be fair there is a difference between someone selling a piece of gear they own once in a while and someone who is actually making a business out of selling something in particular and utilizing whatever platform to do it. Regardless though I can't see why this would bother AGF management at all...without this type of stuff I would have never heard of such amazing folks as @TVvoodoo and would be living my guitar life significantly less "Well-Hung"aullucci wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 8:56 am Yeah people post for sale threads all the time. I spoke with Patrick a few days ago and my impression is that you and anyone else who might have a commercial endeavor are free to list anything (maybe not your kid sister though) in the For Sale section regardless of whether you consider yourself a dealer or an average Joe. To keep things organized and easy for both you and any potential customers, I would suggest an ongoing Mozz thread like the one @TVvoodoo has rather than a new thread for every item. As things sell, you can either delete that particular item post or go back and edit it as SOLD. In the meantime, you can just bump the Mozz thread from time to time between new product listings if it falls too low on the active topics list...
