I probably know most of the people there. Not the one drumming and I think he was banned. The bass player on stage I know, I almost recruited him for my band. But the little instigator I've known for 30 years.
I thought the guy flipping off was the lead singer. Thanks for the explanation.nomadh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 10:40 am HA!Damn, that was months ago when this happened. Bars were open briefly around aug-sept. The guy walking up to the drummer and flipping off, he was my drummer most of last summer and fall last year. Hes the house drummer there and those were his drums. My bass player wasn't on stage but he was there when it happened. That's the bar I've played as a hired band maybe 20 times and another10 or 15 as open mic player. That's the open mic that I played just 2 weeks ago. I dont remember why he walked on stage and flipped off the playing drummer. I know he can get drunk there but his only aggression I've ever seen is hitting the drums. Its bullcrap that the drummer guy beats him up and risks my guys drumset. It's a sun night open mic and has been nearly my only option to get some stage time this whole last year. It is funny the way the guitar player wont quite stop playing the stones with a knockdown 3 feet away from him. That could so be me.
I'll ask again how it started.
This video must be hot again as my first bass player just texted me this link last night.
Just to add, the guy flipping off was one of the first drummers I ever played with regularly 30 years ago. The bass player back then in our little band was my girlfriend and after we broke up he dated her.
Hes a hard working fun guy who lives for his rock and Roll. When we play rock trivial pursuit it's always everybody we can find vs him. It's the only way it's even close.
I dont know anything about the prick playing drums![]()
