I bought this but mostly record my band so it's not what I need. Retail:$150-$250. I'm posting it for $100.

Currently, I am using my old fostex digital recorder (complete with CD burner). It's old and three of the inputs are iffy. The CD burner, well.. it's a cd burner. I'd like to get an updated recording console but they're more expensive than some 8-input interfaces and since I'm transferring everything to Reaper anyway, I'm probably going that route.

Suggestions appreciated.

I bought this today because I don't want to bring my new laptop and a yet-to-be-purchased eight-input interface to our cement-floored practice space. It allows me to transfer WAV files to my computer for mixing on Reaper later. 'Safer and more portable. Plus, I have some experience with consoles like this, albeit a bit dated (see below). The Yamaha AG06 is still for sale.

New (Tascam DB-24sd):

Old: Two of the inputs are kaput and the CD burner is a day-by-day gamble.

Is it just me or is this post over-hyphenated?
