Did a few weeks of research trying to find the perfect acoustic multi-FX to buy to use with my Fishman Loudbox and Carvin thinline acoustics (AC275 and CL450)...checked out the Trace Elliot Transit A, Fishman ToneDeq, Zoom AC3, and a couple others...finally saw a demo for this T-Rex Soulmate Acoustic and was blown away by how great it sounded and how intuitive and well laid-out everything was. Of course a YT demo is only good for getting the gist of things, but it was enough to make me decide this is the one I wanna go for. I don't buy any of this stuff new but when I went looking there weren't any available used...decided to look again the next day and sure enough a mint in box one popped up for 50% off the new cost. Sold!
This awesome unit packs a compressor, mod, delay, reverb, EQ, boost, tuner, and looper into one convenient package. Handbuilt in Denmark (was expecting China!) and super rugged. I've only been playing with it for a day or so but am 100% sure this will be a keeper. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a great sounding multifx unit for your acoustic rig.
Here's a little clip of the mod effect, just recorded with my iPhone but even with this sounds quite good in my opinion. Will do some real clips with my actual recording rig this weekend.
