Hiya gang, hope everyone's staying safe & well!
Life's been busy for me for a little while, but here's one of the things I've been up to. Some musician friends from back in Liverpool and I have been working on a couple of projects, this being one of them. It came from an idea to record a song as a tribute to those we've lost as well as musicians & artists who can no longer get out and do their thing due to Covid and the associated lockdowns.
We've had a few hiccups along the way and began this during the summer but finally got it finished a few days ago. So far feedback has been so good that we're going to work on more next year, possibly with some original material too.

Thanks mate! No, I wish I could sing like that! it's me on guitar (the outdoor shots). The singer is a seriously talented guy from Liverpool named Gary Brown. He fronts a Led Zep, a Deep Purple and a Small Faces cover band and spent most of last year touring fronting Tommy, so it's really flattering to have him on board. Even more so that it was his idea to turn this into a full band, even if it is virtual. Here's a bit of his work:

Der... I should have known that was you playing the Gretsch.
My compliment still stands.
I was gonna say, that guy's got some serious Robert Plant vibe going on. It's good that he can pull that off at his (our) age. I couldn't even sing that stuff in my 20s.
Finally escaping the People's Republic of Kalifornia!

Great Job.

I'm actually laughing that the man who doesn't know Ritchie Blackmore, Pete Townshend, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Vai, EVH and a ton of other famous musicians knows a porn star

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Considering the talent in here, these are some flattering comments (well mostly, @mickey )

Billy,
I dunno why you think I would know who any of those people are?
Back in the 1970's my best friend was the father of the guitar picker in this video:
And that was the type of music I most listened to as well as the type of music I was attempting to play.
In 1980 the job took us to Nashville where I was inundated with the Waylon, Willie & the boys type music.
But my first love is still the old time acoustic such as Norman Blake plays.
