GC used 212 cab
Saw this and wished I could get it. Convertible 212 with v30s . He makes them to order in St Louis , makes them of baltic plywood. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/In-St ... Cabinet.gc Think @honyok could use it if no one else.

Nice cab. Just figure almost $50 in S&H and tax. I guess the celestions alone are worth it. I've noticed that any more or less desirable stuff disappears before you know it, so if this appeals to someone, you'd better move on it. And be sure to check that they're celestions once you do get it.
@mozz I'm sure there is. But how much of it is actual tone in real life difference and how much is sniffery of cork ? I haven't listened to both side by side in the same cab so I'm open minded on whether or not I'd like one or the other more. Actually at that price you could sell the speakers and put in what you like and come out okish.I mean an empty 212 convertible back with run $180 up.
Yeah it's good deal no matter, i have a convertible for 1-12" and it's only pine and wasn't too cheap. I actually think it would be the other way around, somebody pulling the speakers and selling the cabinet. Pair of v30's goes close to $300. I would tend to think it sounds good as it is right now. Celestions+ closed back cabinets= good. I have heard of people using them in combos, which i need to try.
They are really lame (and have been) with their descriptions and pictures. Maybe they are afraid of scaring people away.
