I follow a couple board on the Tapatalk mobile app. One has a like function that is a cool little addition. Food for thought!

Not sure if you've used the site in a browser (both PC and mobile), but there is a "React" option that includes like, dislike, haha, and others. I'm guessing that it doesn't show up in Tapatalk.

My only complaint about this system is that you can't see WHO likes/dislikes something, just how many people do. The owner of the post gets an initial notification, which works well enough.

I find it easier to keep up with stuff on my phone. I’m not on a computer frequently

I just use the mobile website on Google Chrome on my phone and the site works great! I did used to use Tapatalk for other forums on my phone and iPod touch, but that was back in 2009-2013 time frame. I'm not trashing the use of Tapatalk; it's great that we have that support, but I'd assume that the reaction system used in this forum software doesn't port into Tapatalk.

In the upper right of this screen do you see the word "Notifications" ??? Try clicking on it. :)
You should be able to set your personal preferences for notifications. Sorry, that is the best I can suggest.

Oh yeah, I know that, and that's what I referenced. I just mean that other people can't see who like certain posts. Also, if you went back a month later, it would be really hard to tell who liked your own post after you've had 100 other notifications afterwards.

It's not enough for me to actually complain about. It all works well enough. I like the variety of reactions over just "like." Overall, I'm just impressed how well the site works for being put together so quickly. I don't think it could have been pulled off any better.

So guys, I've been working on this in the background :)

If you have only one type of reaction on your post, click on the icon, and you should get a pop up window with who hit the reaction!

If there are multiple reactions, you can click on each reaction, or the total and see all in one pop up window.

No idea if your popup blockers will stop it from working, but it works for me.

It works for me now. Is this a new feature? I've clicked on reactions in the past and didn't get the pop-up.

It also shows you what your own reaction was on a post! Nice! Thank you to you and LightWingStudios for all of the hard work.

Maybe this has been brought up before, but here goes.

Can the Like function be moved to the bottom of the post? Say I read a long thread and I like it, now I have to scroll all the way to the top of said post to give it a like.

I get it, I am lazy.

You or I one are not understanding the like function.
You don't have to scroll to the top of the thread,
merely to the top of the post in the thread that you want to like.

Yes, I am not talking liking thethread, I am talking liking the individual post. In the old forum, you could hit like at the end of every post, with this software you have to scroll up to like. There isn't the continuity like the previous version.

Its petty, but if it was an easy fix I would 'like' it.

Unfortunately it's not an easy fix, if it was simple I would sort it, but it's quite a heavy customisation and I'd prefer to keep site stability and not have a nightmare when updates need to be done :)
