Not talking about "boutique", vintage, NOS, etc. just the mainstays like JJ's, Tung-Sols, Sovteks, what have you. And which brands do you prefer for 12ax7, EL84, 6V6 or whatever else you run? I am thinking of a place that offers the best value between prices and shipping (and I don't mind placing a bulk order to get free shipping).

I've ordered my share 8-10 years ago from places like Amplified Parts, I just don't know where the value is today :)

I usually buy new tubes from Tubedepot, prices are good and shipping is reasonable. Just found a newer place called Nesstone, who has some good prices on power tubes. The website is not currently working for some reason but his reverb store is working.

Here in Canada, I basically go with Long & Mcquade as the source, and I tend towards Mesa tubes. They work, and are good quality across the board.

Also, my little Classic 20 seems to really like their 12ax7s.
