Decided to clean up/re-organize some of my rig today...figured I'd share the final setup since it came out nice. This pic doesn't include 5-6 other pedals that I cycle in and out (or my Fishman Loudbox that I use with my acoustic stuff), but has everything I use the most.
Amp is a 1976 Hiwatt Custom 100, cab is an older Marshall (think it's a 1960A, got it many years ago). Little Vox MV50 Clean on top as a backup just in case...great little amp to run pedals into!
Pedalboard: TC Polytune Tuner, Digitech Whammy V, Carl Martin AT Signature Compressor, JHS @ Overdrive, Free The Tone Firemist Overdrive, Center Street Effects Rasputin Fuzz, Emma Pizdiyauwot Distortion, Buster Jangle Overdrive (only 23 ever made!), Xotic EP Booster, EHX Mel9, Subdecay Starlight Flanger, Carl Martin Surf Trem, Subdecay Baby Quasar Phaser, Subdecay Echobox Delay, Subdecay Super Spring Theory Reverb, ISP Decimator.
Not on the board currently but being rotated in: Butler Tube Drive, EHX Mono Synth, Xotic BB Preamp, Tortuga Martini Chorus, Keeley Nova Wah, Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah.
Good to finally have things cleaned up and lookin' as they should. Here's the visual:

That is a iconic amp, built in the golden years of Hiwatt!
I've worked on a few from the 70's and they are impeccable. You need to start looking for a 4x12 of Fane speakers and increase your homeowners insurance, for all the stuff you'll rattle apart!

Haha, it sure is! Harry Joyce built these with real love and unbelievable precision, it's like a spaceship inside. I got a pic of the guts somewhere, have to dig it up. I've actually had an opportunity to buy a Hiwatt 4x12 with the Fane speakers and I know that's the "classic" complete package to have with this head but I like the early 80s Marshall 1960A I use it with MUCH better for the type of stuff I play. I actually run the amp without the outermost power tubes which allows me to still have all that amazing tone without blowing the windows out. Works much much better than an attenuator.andrewsrea wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 1:28 pm "Amp is a 1976 Hiwatt Custom 100."

Agree - the Fanes have a wonderful tone but even louder than the Marshall w/ Celestions.
