An older horn/headstock model with upgraded pickups, yeah...$300-350 is the typical used market value.mickey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 6:38 pmAn AL-2500 is worth $350? who knew?slowhand84 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 6:34 pm https://www.ebay.com/itm/Agile-Les-Paul ... SwaPhfA8DW

Yep, pretty amazing! And here's another one, even better as it's actually bone stock for a cool $1,135 shipped. They're all comin' outta the woodwork tonight...
Whoa, that is a dead-on clone of mine with the exception of the zebra pickups. If it weren't for that, I'd think somebody had stolen my photos. I, however, am not asking $1200 for mine.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 6:34 pm https://www.ebay.com/itm/Agile-Les-Paul ... SwaPhfA8DW

Well it doesn't say Epiphone anything anywhere in the description so not sure where you're getting that from, these are likely the Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II set (Slash's signature pickup) so definitely an upgrade. Not one that makes the guitar worth 3-4X what it's actually worth, but an upgrade nonethelessmikesr1963 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 1:54 pm Didn't know that Slash Epiphone pickups were an up grade.
Someone please make a ~$200 offer for thatslowhand84 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 11:21 pmYep, pretty amazing! And here's another one, even better as it's actually bone stock for a cool $1,135 shipped. They're all comin' outta the woodwork tonight...

Really? Because it doesn't say anything anywhere in the description about Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II pickups. It only says Slash's pickups. You don't know what the hell is in that guitar. It's just as likely they're Epiphone pickups as SD pickups and that sir is the only fact I can determine from that listing.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 2:10 pmWell it doesn't say Epiphone anything anywhere in the description so not sure where you're getting that from, these are likely the Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II set (Slash's signature pickup) so definitely an upgrade. It simply says "Slash's pickups" and his pickups aka the ones he uses are the Duncan Alnico II Pros. Not lookin' to argue with you but you're assuming they're definitely cheapo Epiphone stock pickups without any real reason to believe that and a lot of common sense reasons to believe otherwise. The Duncan Slash set is an extremely popular upgrade for LP copies so it's way more likely to be that then someone taking the pickups out of a lower end Epi guitar to put into this guitar. The middle-end Epiphone Slash model does use the legit Duncan Alnico II Pros, by the way...it's only the beginner $200ish starter pack guitar that doesn't.mikesr1963 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 4:20 pmReally? Out of curiosity, I went and checked this again. "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." Hmm...did they sell it elsewhere, or did the crack wear off?slowhand84 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 6:34 pm https://www.ebay.com/itm/Agile-Les-Paul ... SwaPhfA8DW

No one paid that kind of money for that guitar lol, they probably just took it to their local store and traded it in or just decided to keep it if they can't "get their price" as these sellers like to say.glasshand wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:21 pmOut of curiosity, I went and checked this again. If it wasn't backwards I'd suggest TobiJohn was the seller.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 6:13 pmNo one paid that kind of money for that guitar lol, they probably just took it to their local store and traded it in or just decided to keep it if they can't "get their price" as these sellers like to say.glasshand wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:21 pmOut of curiosity, I went and checked this again. I may be crazy but I'm not delusional. Anyway, I only occasionally threaten to sell a few, I never actually follow through...
We'd expect nothing less from you, sir.
Extra cost because it's a benchmark agile. Its benchmark because you cant get more average than a cherry burst agileslowhand84 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 6:13 pmNo one paid that kind of money for that guitar lol, they probably just took it to their local store and traded it in or just decided to keep it if they can't "get their price" as these sellers like to say.glasshand wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:21 pmOut of curiosity, I went and checked this again.
