This is one of my favorite guitars I bought it from the exchange a couple of years ago for less than $200. It was in good shape but the nut had been repaired with super glue and backing soda it worked fine but was a bit of an eye sore and it needed a bit of a set up though not bad out of the box. The pups weren't bad but I had a a Seymour Duncan zebra JB I put in the bridge position and a Black 59 in the neck. It sounded great but still lacking in aesthetics. I replaced the tuners with Grover 406G locking tuners and it got a new TUSQ XL nut and remained that way until a few days ago. I was digging through my parts and came across a new set of gold GFS ALINCO 2 humbuckers I bought sometime back from a member here for less than 1/2 price knowing I'd find a use for them sometime. I dug them out downed my PS900 changed them out for the Duncan's while at it I replaced the pots, switch and wire. I did not go back to a push-pull tone pot (I didn't have one) I did use a .022uf tone cap and a 180pf treble bleed cap bought some shiny gold knobs with Abalone caps put on it . The pups sound great it plays like butter and now it's pretty too.
