I don't know how they sell these for as cheap as they do, but man is it nice. Everything functions like you'd expect on a high $$$ guitar. The trem is nice, locking tuners have no issues. The stainless steel frets were perfectly dressed, no sharp fret ends. The roasted maple neck has some great figuring on the fingerboard, and the back of the neck has some nice flame. I dropped the toggle switch, bumped the volume knob back and plugged the hole, and installed a set of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. This thing is great.

Nice one man! Been seeing a few of these and they've all looked nice. Really crazy what you can get these days for $400-$500. I have an Agile Epic that's somewhat similar (stainless frets, roasted neck and board, etc) that I got for something like $190 used and it's an amazing guitar. Wouldn't hesitate to snag one of these HBs used if the price was right too!MrM0964 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:06 pm I don't know how they sell these for as cheap as they do, but man is it nice. How much does it weigh? I've seen a few comments that these can be somewhat heavy, but then I've seen a few reviews that mention they're unusually light....so I don't know what to think.
These Fusion-II are on my short list for next guitar to acquire.

Happy Day indeed! That's a beautiful guitar. Thomann has really upped the game with their Harley Benton line, really nice stuff.

harley benton. are you guys buying form Thomann US site for these? they seem really inexpensive, i see a DC (looks like an SG) custom for like $250 including shipping! are these things any good?
also, i hear some very good things about the fishman-fluence pickups. are they really as versatile as they seem? alnico and ceramic? active and passive???

Some models are better than others (they have super cheap $100ish guitars up to about the $600-ish range I think), but generally the consensus is that they make some solid guitars. They're made in China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.tony1852 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 5:47 pm harley benton. are you guys buying form Thomann US site for these? they seem really inexpensive, i see a DC (looks like an SG) custom for like $250 including shipping! are these things any good?

Fishman is an incredible company in general with top notch products (absolutely LOVE my Fishman Loudbox Acoustic amp) and the Fluence pickups are no exception. I'm partial to Bareknuckle as my #1 choice for pickups, but I've played a few guitars with Fishman sets and they all sounded great.
