On the old board, we had a discussion that somehow turned towards the guitar shown in Van Halen's "Without You" video. We couldn't get a good look at his P90 / Floyd equipped Wolfgang. Well, if you're interested, I ran across this pic yesterday:
Now I definitely want to build one. I may even stripe it.
It still doesn't verify the actual use of P90s on any recordings from EVH, so I guess the speculation is still open.

I wonder if he used one on "Without You," because is doesn't sound like humbuckers until you get to the solo. It's twangier, somehow. I guess I'll never know.
