Agile AD3200 MCC appreciation

I don't recall all the details that went into getting the current evolution of the AD3200mcc into production, but I do remember it being a personal project from some of you all lovely folks. I picked up the plain top tobacco burst model over the holidays. It was a little different in terms of neck profile and such. It is also the first Graphtech bridge I've had. The nut slots weren't quite low enough, but that was a simple fix. The bridge needed a little tweaking to get it right where I like it. I also eased the fretboard binding edges a little bit for a more rolled feel.

I will admit to being on the fence at first. The quality was apparent immediately, but I just wasn't sure it was the right fit for me. I spent the last month playing and tweaking this thing, and now I can comfortably eat those old feelings. The AD and i have settled into each other, and this thing is absolutely amazing. I always figure on changing pickups, but I think the stock pickups in this are really nice. I did put a set of PRS lampshade knobs on, which made the push/pull much nicer feeling. I worried about it being heavy, with the neck thru and all, but it is right in the 9ish lb range.

I could go on about the details of this thing, but it's been covered before. I'm just not on here as much anymore, and wanted give a little praise to the creators of a nicely done guitar. The design hits a sweet spot, and the World Music plant nailed the execution. This thing is an amazing instrument compared to any guitar, no matter the price range.
