As some of you may know, I'm a bit of a fan of the Harley Benton Fusion line...insomuch as I have 4 of 'em. Here's #5, one I've been trying to come across used for a while to no avail until one finally popped up at GC a few days ago for about $100 less than Thomann's new price.
This is apparently a model produced in conjunction with some well known Youtuber (Henning Pauly)...I could care less about that, but the fact that it's a hardtail Fusion with a P90 in the neck certainly got my attention as something different from the rest that I have.
Features include the usual locking tuners, roasted flame maple neck & fretboard with medium jumbo stainless frets, P90 neck pickup and humbucker bridge pickup, and interestingly the volume and tone knob are both push/push (volume knob splits the coils, tone knob offers phase reversal).
As with all my other HBs I will be swapping the pickups (already got a Bareknuckle Aftermath lying around for the bridge position, so I'll just have to grab a nice P90 for the neck position) and leaving everything else 100% stock since it doesn't need anything.
I could do without the silly paw print on the back of the headstock, but dogs are awesome so I'll survive. That aside, another absolutely fantastic guitar from HB and a fine addition to my HB rack .
Pics here now that I've gotten it cleaned up...zero sunlight today so the colors are kinda washed out, the green is much deeper in person. As always, click em to view in proper size/quality.

Damn is right! That is a sweet fretboard, and the rest of the guitar is awesome too. The only thing that struck me as kinda weird was the color on the back of the body. Its such a contrast with the front, it was sorta jarring for me. But hey, same thing with mine, with the rear of the guitar painted black...doesn't affect how it plays *at all*.

I would hope the finish on the body doesn't affect the playability, that would be one weird guitar . I hear you, sometimes a black back looks better with certain colors. I happen to like this combo a lot but all of my other Fusion IIs have the black back and I think it's nice also.bleys21 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 11:18 pm Damn is right!
