@tonebender @andrewsrea As often happens, a thread can take a tangent on related subjects, and this is one of those cases, I think, and I like it.

I agree, and I DO believe that, no matter what our financial status, living a frugal life style - prudent, as Jeff said -, is the best way to live our lives. People (we) will be happier.

Yes, you can treat yourself and your family and loved ones, just do it consciously. That's one way to find happiness.

PS: Still, we'll always love teasing on gassin', and making jokes about the ideal number of guitars we should have - it will always be our current guitars + one more -.

Last thing I need is a another guitar - but the IYV DC Les Paul copy is supposed to arrive tomorrow......

Also, I'm very curious about that IYV DC Les Paul... ¿Made to order or was in their catalog? ¿Any link to have a previous look?

They're actually selling this one on Amazon. Let's see if this picture comes through. It's pretty inexpensive so I don't have my hopes too high mind you. However that IYV Mosrite copy I had was surprisingly decent.

Oh, ok! I was - foolishly, I may say - expecting something similar to Agile's DC AD3xxx (you know, 2 HBs, etc.). Yes, I remember to have seen that IYV DC LP jr before. Anyway, real pictures are always appreciated!

PS: They have a SC LP that I find interesting, although not in stock. It's the ILP-400. Affordable priced. Who knows it it will be in stock again.

Well it arrived - been on the go today and haven't opened it yet. Appears to be a single box which is concerning however the box appears to be in good shape. Let's hope that: 1. It's not broken 2. There's no neck dive and 3. It has a chunky neck. NGD post coming soon.
