Grabbed this (BE 100 from 2015) yesterday from a guy in a cover band who cycles through amps and guitars like you can't even imagine and sometimes gives me reasonable prices on interesting gear. I didn't even have time to try it out. Brought it straight to @andrewsrea as I'm going to be away for the rest of the year.
I'm not really sure how different the newer BE-100s are. They have three channels instead of two. So that's the obvious difference.

Can't wait to try it out! Looks clean.

Nice score we rent a studio to get together and Jam but it's primarily a recording. The other guitar player knows the owners so we get four hours $10 per hour. They have lots of gear and one of their amps I've played through is a Friedman combo 1x12 don't know the model but it's a little tone beast.
Asked Friedman what the difference is between my BE 100 and the deluxe.
"2015 had different filtering , different caps used a darker tone overall and you don’t have a 2 gain and master for the hbe channel or thump knob or many other tone tweaking switches . Things can always be updated"
I think, in the advertising at least, they claim the clean channel was redone on the Deluxe when they went to three channels. There's something that makes it sound like it was redesigned based on a Plexi he has to break up earlier. But, having played @andrewsrea a JTM45 Offset that Rob's got on loan, I can assure you they don't break up at volumes I want to be in a room with. At least not without pedals.
