Actually picked this up Tuesday. I'm not much of an acoustic player but the idea of a ten string guitar intrigued me. I must say this one is a beauty and plays very well. Sounds great too.

I've been wondering how real people like that guitar (I don't tend to trust youtube reviews). It sure does look great. If you have a 12 string, I'd love to hear your opinion on how they differ.

I have had a couple of 12 strings over the years so I'm going basically by memory. The first thing I noticed was the weight. This is much lighter than either of the 12 strings I had. Epiphone and Alvarez respectively. The single low A and E strings do allow for more clarity and ease of fingering. The cutouts on the top bouts do allow for better hearing. The Fishman electronics give the same results I've had with any other acoustic I've had them in. It is well balanced when standing with no neck dive. Other than those things I say it sound pretty much like either of the 12 strings I've had. Additionally, the craftsmanship is top notch, fret ends are smooth and the action is very well set up.BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:51 pm I've been wondering how real people like that guitar (I don't tend to trust youtube reviews).
