Sweet! When I was shopping for an acoustic a couple of years ago, the Yamaha A Series was among the top contenders.

Heh... Yeah, I was making myself crazy trying out every acoustic guitar within striking distance (I've got 3 GCs and one Sam Ash to choose from), because you never buy an acoustic guitar without playing it first, right? Well, that's what I ended up doing when Pro Audio Star made me an offer I couldn't refuse on an import Guild (Waverly), but if that hadn't come along, I would have most likely bought another Yamaha. My previous acoustic of nearly 20 years was a Yamaha, and while I loved that guitar, I kinda wanted to try something different this time, but Yamahas are hard to beat.

I really wanted a Gibson J-45 but $2500 plus is hard to justify I could sell both my acoustics add a few hundred too it and buy but that ain't happening. I was interested in the Eastwood but the only dealer around here just had 2 lower end models in stock and I wasn't interested in either of them but they were really nice for the price range. I would have also been interested in checking out the Recording King guitars but I had played the Yamaha before and this was a b-stock at AMS (I've failed to find the flaw so far) and they had dropped the price to $1100 so I snagged it.
