As most of you know I’m a big fan of single pickup guitars. Saw this one for next to nothing today and picked it up this am.

Looks darn close to my warmoth but chances are it’s mighty mite or something else. Has a licensed Floyd, not sure of the pickup but it’s hot, no idea on the neck but it’s pretty fast (though a bit fatter than it’s twin).

Maybe when I change the strings I’ll take the neck off and look for markings.

Nice grab. That guitar looks really familiar too, wonder if I've seen it in a Kramer forum or facebook a couple years back.

My spidey sense says it's likely a Musikraft neck, based on the ESP style heel and 5150 headstock. If your neck measurements are 0.81 at first fret to 0.91 at the 12th, and the neck is asymmetrical (bass side thicker), then you have a real 5150 neck.

Otherwise the neck carve will probably be a Frankenstein/Charvel size or a Wolfgang variant

neat! what are the chances of finding such a near match?

I remember warmoth put up a facebook post not too long ago asking whether people liked their wm headstocks bare or with the wm decal. stirred up a lot of interesting conversation, but it seemed like the decal folks (myself includded) were in the minority. I like how it looks on my strat. not sure if i'll do it again for my next project.

I may have to take the neck off (i have to know what the parts are). In playing it through the same channel settings it sounds MUCH beefier than the Warmoth. Must be the wood/pickup combo.

Took the neck off. No markings on the body or neck.

Take it to a Kramer group on Facebook. A vintage Kramer group, not the modern Gibson Kramer page.

The folks there will help ID it. :)

Think it's worth it? No markings to me just means rando parts.
