I know it's music, but I'm inclined to consider these one-time posts with a link to a personal site or channel SPAM and to delete both it and that account. They're just trying to sell their YT channel so it will be monetized. I don't see much of a difference between that and selling a Hong Kong love potion.

I generally like members sharing their music here, but a big part of that is knowing who it is through the forum. In this case, the only posts from this member are media, so I agree with you @tobijohn that it's not really a community thing at all.

I like the feeling of AGF being a community where everybody is more or less familiar with each other. It's great when a new member joins, and even if they don't participate as regularly as some others might, you still have a sense that they're around. Heck, I don't even mind all the lurkers who we all know come here to be informed and entertained. They may even be the "dark matter" that helps hold this thing together by accumulating views to our posts and driving traffic to the website. But these people who just knock on the door, wedge their foot in the opening, and then try to sell us something . . . I can do without that.

Not to say that this fellow might not end up part of the community, but...yeah, if all this person is doing is promoting their own music, then perhaps yeeting it is in order.

Well, how about if it's an initial post and it's basically copy and paste with no attempt at personalization, then it should be zapped?
