My condolences, sir. I can't think of much that would be worse. The last time our plumber visited he suddenly broke out in tears and said his wife (who I knew as his office manager) had passed unexpectedly. I never would have envisioned me putting my arm on the shoulder of a big young guy I knew only casually, but it seemed the right thing to do.

Our anniversary is the day after yours, but one year earlier, so we just had our 26th.
