Just finished this this week. I've been working on it for a while. A friend gave me a Squier neck, so I figured I had to do one more project
.

Squier Affinity neck, if that helps. C profile. Medium frets. After I set it up, it plays quite well. I'm pleased with the way it sounds. GFS Fat Mini Overwound in the neck. GFS Dream 180 in the bridge. 500k pots, 22UAF cap. Three way togle. I really like the middle position best. The 180 in the bridge brings the spank and the mini in the neck is very smooth. But the combo of the two gives a real nice sound.

That looks excellent. I have a thinline strat with 2 pickups, similarly handsome looking guitar.
I like the look of getting inside the f-clef with a tiny artists brush and painting the cavity black .

Of course not being able to leave anything alone. I got to looking at this tele and was not satisfied. The large headstock was not to my liking and I thought about cutting it down the way I've done on several of my strats. Then I thought why bother and I would really like some block inlays as well. So, I ordered another neck more to my liking. And I must say I am not at all disappointed in the results. The plus is it is a thicker neck (more of a d profile) and plays much better for my hands. I had to take a little more wood out of the neck pocket to get a proper fit. The only thing I'm wanting to do yet is get some kluson style tuners.
