Seems like they've improved on noise floor quite a bit, which means much improved dynamics.
Since I have the 4, I can use the 5 free version with all my existing gear without having to buy 5 - can't really see anything worth upgrading for that reason.
I did buy a new MiniPlexi model, and it's great! Instant ACDC low gain goodness, here's a quick test playing it over ACDD song:
