This is like a game I play with myself, and maybe some of you do it too. I’ll come across a guitar I’ve never seen before, and I feel compelled to try to identify it’s make, model, where and when it was made. This one has me at a dead end.
It has a particularly odd combination of features. While it has very super Strat elements like an RG style body, HSS configuration, and direct mount pups, it at the same time has a hard tail bridge and Klusson style tuners aligned in a slight arc.
The only identification on the instrument is a logo on the headstock that looks like the letter H inside a red circle with a swoosh going through it. I have not been able to find reference to that logo anywhere.
My best guess is that it is from the 90s, maybe an off brand made by somebody like Cort?
Can Anybody Identify This Brand?

Thank you! It was driving me nuts not being able to find any info.
It's not a bad instrument, about on par with a Squier or SX. I like the direct mount pups, hardtail bridge, maple fretboard, tuners, and grey burst finish.
They're only asking $55 for it so I may pick it up on Monday if it hasn't been sold. Sometimes I just want to bring home these poor neglected guitars and show them love.
This is the entire ensemble the guitar was originally sold with at Best Buy.
