Saw this in a shop that specializes in pro audio equipment today. Running about $950 bucks at current exchange rates.
Anyone ever hear of them ?
Balaguer Guitars ?
Yeah I know someone on Facebook (bought a guitar from him) who works at Guitar Sanctuary who buys these for his own use (and I'm sure he gets good deals on guitar in the shop he works/manages at). He seems to think that they're great, but you have to keep in mind that (I think) they're custom orders made to specs.
I'm specifically thinking of the guy selling this:

Website shows they are out of PA. here. Made in China but QC in USA. Could be one of those deals where they are made in China but they sneak them out the back door and resell without the main company knowing. The artist page shows a lot of metal guys covered in tattoos.

Wouldn't you have to etch it?

ROK not PRC. I see they have some that aren't semi-custom though.

My only advice is they should change the name....Balageaur Guitars sounds too much like "Beleaguered" Guitars.

Seem like nice guitars ...just caught my eye...usually don't see too much new on the high end. There is a shop downtown in one of the swanky malls that carries FGN (Fujigen) guitars...now those are something else....if I win the lottery..

I like those designs. Was looking at this one last night:

A bit more than I want to pay for MIC, but if the QC is good....
I really don't like that bridge though.

Irrespective of where it was made nor the name on the headstock, that looks like a $100 (i.e., cheap) guitar in the pics.Brendan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:55 pm I like those designs. Was looking at this one last night:

They look better on the website. I like offset bodies including that shape. The build-to-order Korean models look interesting with some nice options, but the price is up there.mickey wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:14 pmIrrespective of where it was made nor the name on the headstock, that looks like a $100 (i.e., cheap) guitar in the pics.Brendan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:55 pm I like those designs. $1864 for a FIrebird-ish neck thru with binding. The "Enigma" body shape looks like a Guild.
