Re: Firefly Elite Spalted Maple Les Paul
That's cool, but where did you get yours for $200? I've been watching Amazon for 2 weeks with no LP's. Guitar Garden lists their sold out models with a SOLD OUT sign across them and there are no LP's. Ebay has some and they are all $359 and up? I'm looking for one and am just curious as to where yo...

Congrats, great deal and nice looking guitar. The S2 line is definitely a sweet spot in the PRS lineup. They have a 594 version now too, hoping some day that they start showing up used too.

Re: My furlough just became permanent
I've been really stretching the boundaries of my career search since I got the official notice JeffBeck . I've been working with a career counselor that was provided to those of us facing permanent layoff and it has been quite helpful - been working on a big self-assessment over t...

That would not be hard to do, the feed will combine them all into one once you are done.BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 10:56 am Thing is that would be 4 searches for me the way Reverb arranges categories: electric, acoustic, bass, and folk instruments.

Re: I've been wanting to try one of the new Harmony guitars made at the Heritage Factory in Kalamazoo, MI
The serials all look handwritten. Perhaps it isn't the same person who does each one? It is bigger. Like twice as big. I put in an offer I think is reasonable. There's no way shipping should be as expensive as they're asking. I'm only a few hours away. Good Luck. I messaged the seller with a few qu...

Re: I've been wanting to try one of the new Harmony guitars made at the Heritage Factory in Kalamazoo, MI
I was unaware of these as well, like the US made lineage and the prices aren't ridiculous. The neck finish looks really nice, will have to try and check them out when shops finally open back up. I see that used one on reverb too golem , he's taking offers too. Whats someone intere...

Re: Reverb Spam
Can't you just drill your search down to the guitars category? Or are all the accessories showing up in the wrong category to begin with? If so there's not much you can do to avoid it.
I still think Reverb is the best site for buying and selling gear by a long shot.

Re: On A Mission To Bring hbowner/vesa Back Here
I think the highlights of HBowner was better than the actual presence of HBowner... He was more like an cheesy 70s/80s comedy with a few chuckles, look at the goofy foreign guy, hahaha... I fear for those fans of him it would only be like a bad sequel. I would agree with this. He was much more of a...

Re: Home Stereo Question
Jeff, I have recently learned there is a club around here where the members are hitting all the "Goodwill Stores," "Salvation Army" type places because the stereos of the 1970's & 1980's were so much better than anything you can buy new today. While I happen to agree with th...

This is my Goldtop - it's also somewhat of an oddity/unique 2012 model. They made a special run of Les Paul Deluxe "reissues" but through the Gibson USA line, and not the Custom Shop where most reissues come from. It originally had Mini hums, but I had Buddha Pickups mak...

Re: Agile AD guitars
BTW, Rondo prices on their Agile are "getting up there". I think he's still got some very reasonable pricing on the Hadean and SX stuff, but yes - Agile pricing is definitely heading up. It's no surprise though, he's publicly mentioned the costs in SKorea have risen substantially. Even wi...

Re: Agile AD guitars
That looks like a an AD 2200 to me. https://www.rondomusic.com/Agile_AD-2200_P90_TVY.html Very similar to a 2300 but the 2300 had a TOM bridge. Both are flat tops. AD 2500 and 2800 were carved top doublecuts, and now there is an AD 3200 which is a carved top/neck thru/carved heel. And don't forget t...

Re: Best Agile On The Horizon?
I have been agile-less for quite some time now, and this one is on the short list if i were to buy another. The AL- series is what brought me to Rondo ( and AGF ) way back when, but I really like this model. I wish he would offer it in a standard flame/burst ( TSB, CSB, Lemon, tobacco, etc )

Re: AD 201 revisit
I had a couple of AD201's over the years and never ran into that issue that I can remember, but i also had the plain old non-compensated wraptail - which I would guess might put the strings lower without the additional ridges on top? Hope you can figure it out, that's one guitar I wish I would have ...

Re: My furlough just became permanent
Honestly, at this moment I'm a little to depressed/pissed "deprissed?" to think ahead. I'm going to take a couple of days to wallow and then see what's what. Thanks for the kind words, though. I felt the same way, still do at times. I had to let half of my team go too, that was almost wor...

I hope you find something sooner rather than later. Good luck. Same to you my friend. Sorry to hear that Jeff. Got the permanent layoff notice last Monday myself after 20 years of service. I'm looking at it as a challenge and an opportunity, and people are starting to at least talk about hiring. A couple of the HR/recruiters I've spoken have said that plans for hiring are already tak...

Re: So whats open and what not
Being a pretty rural population here in WI, I don't think we were ever close to the level of "lockdown" that many in more urban areas - even though we do have some bigger cities like Milwaukee that had ( and continues to have ) lots of cases and deaths. The total city/metro area where I li...

Now there are new reports that asymtomatics are very unlikely to spread the virus. I think that's the most frustrating part - there are "reports" that show just about every possible scenario. I find it hard to believe that it can only be transmitted by people with symptoms yet it has reac...
