Re: Pedalmania Dying Out?

I have a Quilter Superblock US which I think is a hybrid of sorts. It can go directly to a DAW (or to a FOH mixing board) and still power a speaker with 4 or 25 watts. I use it both ways at home (with the same rig as he is using). It's pretty cool.

A Soundlad "Scran." It's a Marshall-in-a-box with a lot of bells 'n whistles that I want to use through my home rig.

@andrewsrea's Dumblicious is the only pedal I use through my amp at the practice space. Damn, it's a good pedal.

Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?

So far really like the amp. I wish it had slightly more headroom when I’m playing it here alone but I suspect when I play in relatively low volume jams it will be near perfect. Might want to try another speaker eventually but in no rush. It sounds much less boxy than I expected considering it’s abo...

Tyson vs. Jake Paul

Some of you may frown on the event, but I think that it's interesting. The women's fight has been spectacular but buffering problems have plagued the show so far.

Re: Tone Master Bassman

The majority of sound men today are going to want you to go XLR out on this thing. This amp may turn out to be for Fender what the robot tuner guitars were for Gibson. Agreed, to a point. I was speaking with a bar owner this weekend. He told me that, in his perfect world, musicians would come in wi...

Re: push and pull

Soft and intertwined. You definitely have your own style. I feel that the overdriven guitar (the tone, not the part) detracted from the vibe. The licks were tasty, though. I dunno. That's just me. Overall, the piece is killer.

@msc_

Scott,

I love it. 'Played it all day. It still hasn't made it to practice because it's been hard to get everyone there (much less the in the same state).

Thursday, I hope.

Hooray for a NAD! I hope that this will be the tone you've been searching for. I had a fostex recorder much like the zoom in the picture. Man, I used that thing all of the time for both band and home recordings. It wouldn't quit - and I bought it used! Have fun with that yours. Don't be afraid to RT...

Re: Training vids

Love this! I'm confused about the recording process, though. When you say DI, do you mean the instruments went into the Soundcraft and the effects were added later? I don't much about recording direct. This was a fun song to listen to. It had many "bandy" moments where you all had to be on...

Are you referring to the "dogs" post? I never had a problem with it. I assumed that it was something like this. We're a solid crew and you wouldn't have submitted such a post unless something goofy happened.

No worries on my side but it was interesting to see the impetus behind the post.

Love this.

- Lots of interesting intertwining guitar parts.
- Great singing all around. Your voice is super and fits the song well.
- That amp sounds great.
- Love how the solo kicks in at 2:39.
- Sounds professionally mixed.

I can't imagine how many tracks this must have.
