Re: Pretty Neat: The Mooer GTRS Modeling Guitar

I admire all you guys that can use all this technology effectively but it is just too much to think about for me. I just got myself a digital mixer this year and even that is one that works very much like an analog mixer. It was sort of blowing my mind the first few minutes with it but then it sank ...

Re: bromo brand acoustic guitars at rondo music

I f'ing love a solid mahogany acoustic guitar. The price is right but I prefer guitars made on this continent. Plus I would have to find another retailer for Bromo, as I do not do business with Rondo.

It is hard to get a deal these days in a pawn shop. That Turser threw them off their game. I would have never notice because I have no desire to own a Strat and would not have given it that scrutiny. Good on you for finding a gem.

Re: Customer Does A John Belushi With An Aria Pro II in Front of Salvation Army

That is a shame. I sure there was a Carlo Robelli sitting around somewhere that would have been a better choice. I have one in the garage. They used to give them away at Sam Ash with a purchase of some threshold amount. I had several back in the day and would give them away. Someone actually brought...

Re: Robben Ford / Pedal Show w/Dumble

I have 5 electric guitar amps. One is an old red knob Fender Champ that I consider a paperweight. That thing could be the worse amp ever produced, I don't even consider it playable. I bet Robben could make them all sound like a Dumble, even the red knob dud.

Beautiful guitar! I think I have said it before but Breedlove uses a myrtle wood quite a bit. I have played quite a few and they do have a nice tone. I would love to have one but so far none have spoken to me as far as playability goes.

For me, a Les Paul should not have a maple fretboard and a Tele should not have a rosewood or ebony board. Although I could probably live with an ebony board on a Tele.

I'd guess it is someone's custom order from back when Kurt was taking custom orders. Taking the orders was fine, delivery was the problem Yeah, you are kind. He was not good at at taking the orders or delivering the orders. He was good at holding my cash in his account accumulating interest for the...

Re: Odd Rondo interaction

I go see a lot of bands play. I watch a lot of videos of band constantly and I rarely see someone playing a 7-string guitar much less a 10 stringer. I am not sure he is selling what is popular but I am willing to admit my experiences are anecdotal. Anyone else seeing all these auto-harpish guitars o...

Not my favorite music store in this area but I still hate to see them go out of business. I bought a lot of stuff from them over the years and got some pretty good deals from time to time on the green tag items.

Wow, that is a nice amp but way more than I use there days. Plus it is heavy! I am thinking about going back to a head and cabinet even it adds a trip, each piece is much lighter than my current combo of choice. The problem is the Devilcat Gussie head I am eyeing almost weighs as much as my combo.

I still have an issue taking an expensive guitar to gigs. I was determined to take my new 335 to gigs but after about 10 I found myself being reluctant again. Now it depends on where we are playing. I had all but abandoned my trusty Goldtop the last couple of years. I took it a couple of weeks ago a...
