In Mississippi, it could be any of a thousand places to get fried chicken and/or fried catfish, potato salad, turnip greens, lima beans, and cornbread.
Then drive down to Louisiana for some gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya.

It's too bad the videos got flipped backwards.
Hope you get it straightened out, but I wonder if you got DMCA/copyright takedown.

Don't miss the new one - "White Wedding" by Billy Idol. They're in the kitchen again, but she's wearing the cheerleader suit.

Got the same model for $25 many years ago. Some kid had done an EVH paintjob on it...took forever to remove. The neck is great - very desirable. The pups are somewhat "meh". The small body is comfy even without the belly cut.

You could also be wishing you'll ever get your neck. Be ready to submit a claim with your CC to get your money back when it never shows up.

Guilty. As a teacher, I've actually put in more time converting and creating content for online classes, as well as taking on a position full-time on the college side (lots more classes than high school). With Covid, I also haven't been experimenting/building amps and effects or buying cheap guitars...

Re: Ibanez AMV10a TCL
I can't really make out the relic part in the pics. It looks really good to me. Congrats. The body has worn marks, almost like worm-eaten wood. Metals are tarnished or burnished. Plastics, including the inlays, are aged and yellowed slightly. To me, it looks more "cohesive" than a lot of ...

Re: Bands Using Prerecorded Tracks During Live Performance
My first exposure was during the 90's at an outdoor music festival. Our group was a couple of sets before the headliner, which was a fairly major country act at that time. One of the guys found a CD on the ground afterward during cleanup. Turns out the headliner was using tracks AND recorded crowd n...

Re: 60Hz hum...Do amps have built-in EMI filters? (paging Mickey and other pros)
Didn't check the specs on the linked products, but can guarantee they don't do anything for 60 Hz. They would be MUCH bigger. Most equipment is concerned with radiated and conducted emissions for UL/CSA certs. Most of the time you're not worried about frequencies below 100KHz or even 1MHz. If you th...

Interesting experiment, but would be easier to just remove the screw poles from a regular HB.

Not professional-grade, but acceptable. I did not use the sheetrock anchors...screwed into the studs.

Re: Ibanez AMV10a TCL
I traded my DBZ Imperial that I got for $300 during the big blowout years ago, so pretty good deal for me. The DBZ was beautiful, but I just didn't bond with it. The Ibanez just feels more comfortable and is more versatile. Quick note...the tops on all these models look exactly the same - CNC or las...

Re: Ibanez AMV10a TCL
I have the ASV version. Excellent guitar, even the pups are good. The relic/aged finish works for me...looks like it's been on the bayou circuit for the past 30 years.
The Classic Elite pickups aren't as mediocre as the old ACH pickups. Like PAFs with a little more bite and clarity.

Sooooo, trying to do the EVH thing, eh?
Keep in mind, he lied about it for years and said he used it to increase voltage to the amps....don't do that.

Okay...watched the whole thing. Impressive technical skills, but, like you mentioned...no 'soul' or 'feel'. Most of it seemed off-kilter...maybe it's supposed to be freeform jazz?

Re: Too much wall
Absolutely, you could fit at least 25 -30 more guitars on all that exposed wall if you get creative. You could also get ceiling hangers for another 50. I'll help find you guitars, what's on your GAS list? I tried explaining that to my wife, who wanted me to hang them to free-up floor space.... She ...
