Been in Thailand more than 9 years..this summer season has been the worst with last year the 2nd worst. Sweltering 🥵

Usually high in the morning, drys out later in the day...but as we are approaching the beginning of rainy season..there's usually an overlap where the humidity goes crazy high for a few weeks before any rain happens and that is the most miserable time of year...by the time you towel off after a shower your dripping again.

I make 5 trays of ice every day and use AC. But unfortunately, GF's birthday today so I booked a nice hotel on the river in Bangkok...and with check in @ 2PM I have to travel to BKK via Metro and make my way to the hotel at the hottest time of the day. She is meeting me there after work. Not looking forward to traveling day.
