I'm not sure when I last logged into my Google account, could have been last year? I dunno.
But I wanted to do a few things on youtube, so I tried to log on to my google account.
I've had the account for at least 20 years, perhaps more, so my user ID is the email address I was using 20 odd years ago.
Well, I put that in then it made me do at least 6 different "I am not a robot" tasks before it asked me for my password.
When I put that in it told me it had emailed a temporary access code for the account TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS THE ACCOUNT NUMBER.
Well, that company has not existed in over 10 years. So I cannot check that email.

It also gave me the option of inputting a telephone number and it would TEXT the code to that number.

I do not now, nor have I ever had a phone number that could send/receive texts.

So I guess I'm just s.o.l. ??????

Well, I've stored a few Agile/SX reviews over the years and before they disappear, here are the ones I can access:

I read a couple weeks back that Google was purging gmail accounts that were inactive. I have a gmail account but I do not use it for email just other stuff so mine has dormant for long periods of time too. I made a point to log in and use the account a few times so it would not go away.

Thanks. I used to be fairly good, but since I retired I don't seem to have the time to put into it.

Nice Mickey. I like the Spanish guitar style.
"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."

As someone in security, I can understand why they'd do that. Still, I can understand your annoyance.

Playing sounded great! That GG7 sounds alive, but I also liked the Joe Pass Epi!

I steer clear of Google as a search, but hit my account daily with email log on.

The SX GG7 was the most pleasant surprise of everything I ever bought from Rondo!
It was a $120 B-Stock that turned out much better than expected.
The tailpiece that came from the factory was faulty, thus the B-Stock.
But I admit to replacing much more than that! :D

You should simply explain to them that having been born before the invention of the transistor, it is impossible for you to be a robot, as any old analog valve components would have deteriorated by now.
