Bought this on a whim off eBay for $92.00 shipped. Has a nice 60’s style neck, light weight, intonated well and the finish is actually quite good. It has a little fret sprout, cheap azz tuners, nut cut to low on the high e string, frets need to be polished, and fretboard edges need to be rolled a bit more. Surprisingly frets are level and feels pretty good. Nice low action with zero buzz which is amazing. And it’s green. Never owned a green guitar before. Pickups are not too much to talk about either. Flame is quite subtle, but there.
It’s an IYV 300 something other. More on eBay to be had. Going to do some work on it, later. Back in the box it goes for a while though. Working 7 days a week for the unseeable future.
NGD - IYV Les Paul
Could not sleep last night, so got up and polished the frets, set action a bit lower, and rolled the fretboard edges. It plays quite well. I am not an LP guy, but love the sound, so the price of this fit the bill. Maybe I got lucky, but the basic build of this is pretty good and has the 60’s slim neck. The pots and switch are typical Asian fare. Will need to be replaced. And pickups as well.
Plenty on eBay for the adventurous few or scratch an itch. Also seems to have a 1/4” maple cap instead of a veneer. My assessment could be wrong though.

IYV the new Agile? Most people talk good about it.
I´ve seen those IYV LPs a lot, and they seem to have been making them in green only - nothing wrong about the color -.
HNGD, enjoy it!

Played a few IVYs the last year. Not bad but I'd stack a Firefly a couple of steps up from it for not much more $.
If nothing else, these guitars make for GREAT Husks and are an inexpensive low risk learning platform.

The bones of the guitar are quite good. Says it’s made out of mahogany, but much lighter than any mahogany based Agile’s I ever owned. Don’t know what type of so called Asian variance of mahogany this is. And the fretboard is I think jatoba. Don’t have a clue. It’s brown, looks similar and feels similar to rosewood. There is also a video comparing this to a Wolf brand guitar which are supposed to be from the same plant.
My brother has a number of SVK LP style guitars and a Korean made EPI that outplay his Gibson. This plays no worse than any of those. Feels very similar to the SVK’s . Funny thing is, two of the SVK’s were mine I loaned to him years ago because I was not playing them. I was not a fan of the LP at the time. Still really not my favorite feeling body style. Kinda hard to ask for them back at this time, so in came greenie. Going to be retiring in a year or so. It will make a nice project. Oh, and the nut needs a work as well. It’s not cut right. You hear the pinging while tuning and the high e is cut so low, it frets out in the first fret. If you can do any of this work yourself and enjoy it, might be an option. If not, I would probably stay away.

I think Ivy, Grote, Leo Jaymz and a few others start out with the same "husk".....a few variations after that. They have the more pointed horn like traditional LPs and not the muted one like Agiles, Firefly, etc. I have found tuners and pickups are pretty much a given. Other than that they are a great deal for the money. Plus from Amazon....you can not beat the return policy.

I bought this from a salvage company I believe. Everyday Fullfilent KC. The more I bought, the better the price would be. As soon as I bought this one, they jumped to 128. Bought on ebay. They are listed anywhere from $128 to as much as $450. Most at $200. It was Advertised as an open box and no factory panicking, but came factory packed.

I like the PRS-like model - you have one in blue -.
They just need to add a double cut guitar like Ibanez AR series or AgilAD3200s, and I´m sure they will be hard to resist.

Speaking of "Green Guitars"...Snagged this Firefly a few months back....$239 shipped to FL from Calif.
Metallic finish...Semi Hollow...weighs in at just over 6lbs...nice and light for this old buzzard to play standing up.
Humbucker in Bridge and Mini in Neck…Rosewood Board, Rolled Fret Ends, Serviceable Bridge and Tuners. Surprised the Nut was cut very well.
Added a TP-6 Fine Tuning Tailpiece and a Custom Truss Rod Cover...
Going to swap the PUPS for Gibsons when I can swing the $.

I really like IYV's gear sounds like a great price I belive you will really enjoy it.
I bought the trans black prs type Iyv guitar, the actually sent the green lp as above, but i already had enough lp models, so back it went. It did have a nice feel though.
But im quite happy with the prs (350?) guitar. Pickups are supposed to be alnico but im sceptical, they sound like ceramic. No issues to complain about otherwise.
