I work at a community college and every year they have a staff appreciation at the end of the spring semester.
One year, a long time ago, the theme was Margaritaville and I was included in the band as a bass player.
We played about 5 songs. We were an instant hit.
The band included members of the college.
We've been asked to play about every 3-4 years since.
We play mostly 60's and 70's stuff and I have since switch to being the drummer as that's my main instrument.
This year, we got a new President of the College.
President NOT PEZident.....
Anyhow, we were asked to be the after party entertainment for his innauguration.
My nephew is one of the trumpet players.
The guy in the black jacket is the best guitar player I've ever played with.
