It had been awhile since I had purchased my last strap from Well-Hung. Brad says it had been 5 years. I stumbled across his Reverb store and was blow away by his current offerings. I have been playing with a band the last couple of years after retiring from the Tonebenders in 2017. I had done some acoustic gigging with an old friend from the my first band way way back. When we all parted ways back then, not over disagreements, just ran the course, my friend pursued the three piece blues band format over the years. They called themselves Thunderbolt Brown. They recorded 4 records over the years. When we did our acoustic thing I learned and played some of those songs with him. So when their band decided to they needed a second guitarist to play the other guitar parts in their recordings I got a call. I know, long story so I will get to the point. I saw the ZAP strap with the brown leather thunderbolt and thought, "I have to have one for this band!"

I have to say Brad has really upped his game. His straps were always awesome and they have gotten even better. Hands down the best strap money can buy. What I love is the hand made look and feel. You can just tell these are not stamped out parts sewn together in some automated system, where they all look the exact same. I specifically will use this strap with the SG, Firefly 428 semi and any other guitar with the strap button in the back of the neck instead of the horn. Well-Hung straps work on any guitar but they have such stout ends that they are particular well paired with this application while all the rest out there are not.

Good luck with the gig!

Most excellent choice!!
Pics on some guitars please!

A few months back I got another one as well, specifically for my Dean V79.
The silver looking bits are actually more gold, and change with the light and angle.
Mostly my straps stay on a specific guitar.

Over the years I have also typically paired straps with a guitar. That has led to me owning a lot of straps. LOL. During the sell off I have been throwing in straps with the purchase of a guitar but I have not parted with any Well-Hung products. I still must have 30-40 straps on hand. I think I have a total of 5 from W-H. I used to install either the Dunlop u-channel type locking mechanisms but I have gotten away from that lately. Now I like the straps that come with some type of built in locker or if I use a Well-Hung for piece of mind I use rubber washer for added security. Brad offers strap buttons that are oversize that also add security but I prefer to not change the stock buttons these days.

Your cheque came in today my friend thank you! Also appreciate your kind words, and yes... it's hard for me to see it but I do believe I'm getting better and better slowly. For your kindness I am pleased award you something new and very special.. a Petey!

Some the recent rvb feedback really puts some strut in my step! I know you're not a rvb fan.. so yes I am into doing biz outside of the platform too. It's more difficult but I'll take it any way I can get it. Just dropped my 1000th reverb feedback last week.

Boy now there is a thread it would be amazing to be able to resurrect from the old AGF page. I was the lucky recipient of a Tweed-style strap from @TVvoodoo due to my prowess (luck?) as the AGF Survivor champion. I still have it and it is my one and only strap of choice whenever I need it.

Where might I drop in? I do remember you talking about this a while back but fully admit I don't remember how to get there. I can lurk with the best of them so no worries about any cats getting out of bags and such.

Man that guitar was hard to play but did make a great guitar for slide.

I remember that game. I was trying to participate while getting barked at by my boss every other minute.

Still have all my Well Hung straps. They're vintage now.
