Was noodling around with this really simple progression and decided to record it.
Been a while.

I really like guitar lines that carry vocal characteristics, and that sure did.

Very nice work Narsh! I wish I could play like that.
I have always considered a guitar solo as a substitute for vocals. My whole approach to a solo has been and still is to be melodic and play as few notes as it takes. Mike Campbell is my hero. After all the solo is just giving the vocalist a rest. I am amazed by those that can shred and spaghetti role, etc. but sometimes I hear solos that are completely independent of the song.BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Wed Feb 22, 2023 9:06 pm I really like guitar lines that carry vocal characteristics, and that sure did.

Nicely done sir! I have the same exact Dullahan, dropped some Bareknuckle Holy Divers into it and it's freakin' killer. Also apparently the thumbnail for my photo below is showing up sideways to me, but when I click it opens up properly right side up. Not sure why this sometimes happens to me
