Well as the title says, I’ve been pretty busy lately.
Moved on the 1st, my baby boy was born on the 10th, and we’re still trying to settle into the new place. I’ve gotten the living room and kitchen mostly set up, bedroom and nursery are also mostly set up and useable. The office and decorations around the house however still need some work.
Oh and I’m still adapting to this whole being a dad thing.
I’m on parental leave from work until the middle of November, so that’s been a huge boon in letting me spend quality time with my little family, and also in settling into the new house. The previous tenants left an awful mess in the front and back yards I’ve still yet to even get started on, and the house interior wasn’t in the best state either, but we’ve got the inside all cleaned up and getting set up nicely.
Anyway I wanted to pop by and make sure everyone’s doing well here and check in myself, and show off some progress I just made in the office today.
Got my Vs all hung up on the wall now, took me forever to be sure I was on studs, evenly spaced and at least kind of properly lined up.
(Not sure why it rotates my pictures when I post them, but it orients correctly if you click it)
Been a little busy lately

Happy family and new apartment, Lancer,

It’s definitely gonna be something along those lines @Partscaster. Or maybe he’ll pick up a word from a song by The Doors, he really vibes them so I try to put a record or two on pretty often.
I’d like to also go ahead and say, all of the dads on here really buried the lead on how great of an experience this is lol

congrats on all, especially the little one. Being a dad is awesome. Mine are beginning to leave the nest soon (1 in college but living at home, and 1 about to go off to college) and I already miss them, even though they haven't gone anywhere yet.

Congrats to you and the mom on the newborn! Fatherhood is a roller coaster ride; thank God I (actually we: the mom and myself) have had way more ups than downs - the normal worries when he got sick and things like that -. It´s a life changing experience, for sure, and unique. The first 15 years are the best ones AND the more important to help him build his personality and make them ready to face the world and, ultimately, to be a good man - the world is never easy on kids, so be aware ALWAYS; like the main character (played by Jeremy Renner) said to the FBI agent (played by Elizabeth Olsen) in the movie Wind River: "You cannot blink, not once" (or something like that).
The guitar office is looking good.
Cheers, mate!
