It's not damaged at all, what you're seeing is the price tag for the guitar. GC has these big laminated rectangular price tags (you can see it is attached to the high E string with a loop). Knowing that the headstock logo and TRC orientation were upside down would keep me up at night. I'm already sleeping poorly because of a reverse headstock swap with @NickintheStates between our HB-TE90FLTs now has that logo upside-down...

Now that I look at it closely, I can see that it's the reflection in the hang tag, but damn, that's an odd lining-up of things. I doubt you could get it to look that way if you tried!
