Have any of you tried an Artist guitar? They seem to be a pretty good brand and I'm thinking about giving one a whirl they have a 100 day return policy.

@rrobbone (amongst others on the web) did a review on the TC59 tele. That of course lured me in to buy one. Which in turn lured me in to buy a Hybrid P-J bass for a friend. The key seems to be buying in advance 'cuz they don't last long in stock.
The TC59 tele is very nice. Ash body (& I love a good piece of ash), classic look, smooth stain neck, locking tuners, split coils. It is as heavy as my AL guitar, so be aware of that. Pups sound good, especially dirty. It is a joy to play (it now has a Well-Hung strap from @TVvoodoo of course).
The P-J bass is also very nice & had a good variety of sounds from the pups. I did need to do a fair amount of set-up on that one, mainly for pup adjustment. The friend I bought it for really likes it & it has become his #1
