Mine arrived yesterday ( the Joyo version ) and these things are slick. After a brief RTFM moment ( yes one device is TX and the other is RX ), I'm wondering why I never owned a set of these before.

Well I always RTFM first, no matter how simple it looks to operate (sometimes my wife gets mad at me for that; "Why you need to read it? Just turn it on!". Most of times she´s right, but I read it all the same ).

Shameful... That kind of behavior will result in you losing your man card, Sabas... Don't tell me is you follow assembly instructions, and ask for directions when you're lost too!

There are dozens and dozens of these things on both Amazon and eBay. I was looking at the Joyo ones because although at $40, they are $15 more than the bulk of the cheapest ones, the jack pivots and their combined 4 and 5 star rating is 92% which is quite a bit higher than anything under $30,

Thinking about it though, my only concern is electrical interference from PC stuff, cell phone recharging stations and fluorescent fixtures which are only a couple feet from my desk chair which is where I spend all my time playing. Even with cables I get a ton of it so I can only imagine what it might be like with a wireless setup. A lot of the lower rated units also got complaints about latency and hiss, even from under 10 feet away...

I use my Lekato set in a room with 3 laptops, 4 screens, 2 computers, a laser printer, Xbox, and TV, and it’s clear as a bell.

Maybe I´ll regret exposing this here, but, I actually "take my leaks" seated, just like with number 2, to avoid splashing urine drops everywhere. You´ll see, as I also do the bathroom cleaning, it´s for making my job easier in the end.

I've been using my wireless for over two months now, and I still have PCS! (Phantom Cord Syndrome). I always have to remind myself that I can move around freely without having to be mindful of the cable that isn't there... Anybody else experience this?

I´m about to experience it. After long months of playing without barely making any movement because of my cable - it´s shorted, or something; it would only transmit sound when I managed to get "the right position", and then I would play in statue mode -, I´m finally going to try the Lekato´s next weekend hopefully.

Guess it would take me a while before realizing I´m free!

(Also, we´ve just sold our dinning room table, so I have more space to move free, like if I was on a freakin´ music stage!)

I wonder if I've become like an elephant? I had a friend who was a zebra wrangler for the Ringling Brothers circus, and he said when they train (break) elephants, they chain them to a big, sturdy tree, or a post. At first the elephant struggles and tries to break free, but after some time, they eventually resign themselves to the fact that there is no escape for them. Then you can tie them to a lawn chair, and they won't even try to run away.

I got my refund in a couple of days.

Sabas was the one who set it up with the company, so he can give you the contact info. This was back in late April, though. I don't know if this offer is still available.

Don't gig anymore but we have a core group that play together once a week. Four guitar players one drummer one of the guitar players is vocalist and we take turns on the bass anyway we have had what seems to be the same thing for a few months now.
We got ours from Amazon for $39.95 under the brand Getaria. I suspect they are made by the same manufacturer and then branded for the various distributers. It does seem you guys got a much better price than we did.
We play in a music room in one of the guys house the space is nice but kind of small so even in the I'd guess 200sqft room no problems with feedback or interference at all. I have noticed if you get too close to a DI box headphone amp interface or whatever along those lines they start playing the Rice Krispies song snap crackle and pop. They have decent battery life between charges but when they drain down they shut off quickly but have a relatively short recharge time .

I mean, I don´t see a reason why not, but it´s better to unplug them when not in use?

Great. I don´t think it´ll cause any trouble, really.

Now, one of the advantages of owning just one guitar, is that I always know what guitar I´ll play!

I take the transmitter out of the guitar - or try to remember to, anyway. I'm mostly concerned about it getting damaged when I put the guitar down on a stand or in the rack (if the jack is on the side of the guitar). I only have one guitar that has the jack low enough for that to reasonably happen, but I think it's a good practice just the same. It reduces the risk of forgetting to turn them off when you're done, killing the battery. It also saves me time when I need to use it again. I don't have to check all my guitars to see which one it's sticking out of.

That's provided I was mindful enough of where I put it to remember where it is the next time.
