When I was very young I used to get horrendous ear infections constantly, to the point of my eardrums rupturing multiple times. I had tubes put in my ears at one point but that was also back when it was somewhat new and most ent's I've talked with feel that it is all rooted back in damage done during that time. I do not have high blood pressure thankfully, both my dad and brother do though.

I've eventually just learned to live with it. I've dealt with anxiety over the years too and that definitely exacerbates the situation, but for the most part I really don't notice it unless I think about it. Exercise does make it worse ( the pulsile kind ) or loud sounds. I like to shoot firearms and especially at an indoor range, even if I wear ear plugs with muffs over the top, after a while I sometimes get a little lightheaded/dizzy.

I wish I could give you and answer but I've never found one that makes it completely go away. Working on the Anxiety piece was big, and not just in that area - @Buddha Pickups is right that your mind can literally manifest physical symptoms.
I was thinking this too. Not in exclusion to all the other good ideas also listed. Move forward on all those but this is another good less obvious course. This kind of thing can be a vicious cycle with no sleep and irritation and anxiety all in a horrible feedback loop. Dont ignore the psychological aspect and the brains ability to decrease or amplify problems. And this is not saying anything is fake or made up. This brain body interaction can be very real and fairly flexible. Hopefully some combination of ideas will get your wife completely cured. This idea may help a bit until you nail the main problem. Good luck and prayers for you both.

She definitely has anxiety now. This has been going on for over 4 months now. She is taking meds now for the anxiety , something she said she would never do, and they are helping. When she hears it coming on, she tries to immediately lay down. This seems to help. Hopeing tomorrow’s visit will she’s some light on her situation. Thanks again for all thoughts, wisdom and kind words.
